CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Gentle Yoga & Meditation w/ chair option

Begin with gentle yoga postures that both strengthen the body and ground you in the experience of your breath.  This class will guide you through different meditation techniques. You will learn how to cultivate a comfortable and stable seated posture as you unite the mind and the breath by using a sequence of conscious breathing practices and systematic muscle relaxation.  Begin your journey of calming the nervous system, improving concentration, strengthening memory, and reconnecting to your intrinsic nature of joy!  Suitable for beginners.

Beginner/intermediate Hatha Yoga & Meditation

This class combines yoga asanas, breathing techniques and meditation to help cultivate and nurture deeper connection with ourselves, physically, mentally and emotionally, and reach that inner peace and joy that has been there with us all along. Let’s come home to ourselves together!

Yin Yoga

This class is designed to gently and deeply stretch the connective tissues, promoting a sense of calm and relaxation. We'll hold poses for longer periods, allowing the body to relax and release tension. This class is suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners, and is a wonderful way to restore flexibility, reduce stress, and improve joint mobility. We encourage the use of props such as blocks, blankets and bolsters, all provided for you at the studio.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga supports the nervous system by aligning the body in a way with props to enhance our experience of fully letting go, resulting in a profound state of stillness.  It is in this conscious state of stillness where the body, mind, and spirit can recharge itself from the taxes of our over-scheduled lives. Suitable for beginners.

Hatha & Kundalini Yoga

Explore your subtle energy as we tap into Kundalini fusion. Elegantly combining the Hatha style asana postures and pranayama breath practices with guided meditations, symbolic mudras, and rhythmic mantra practices. Experience trauma informed kundalini that’s appropriate for every yogi, beginner through advanced.

Yoga Qi Fusion

This unique practice weaves together the flowing energy of qigong and tai chi with the grounding strength and mindful movements of yoga. Designed for all levels, the class invites participants to explore balance, breath, and awareness through gentle yet powerful sequences that merge the meditative fluidity of qigong and tai chi with the structured alignment of yoga. This class cultivates vitality, resilience, and an embodied sense of peace. You’ll leave feeling grounded, spacious, and recharged. Suitable for beginners!

Vinyasa Flow

A dynamic style of yoga that emphasizes the connection between breath and movement. It involves a series of poses, or vinyasas, that are linked together with deliberate breathing, creating a continuous flow and a moving meditation. The practice can help improve strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. This is a more vigorous practice.
